Welcome Message
On behalf of WiN Korea, it is my great honor and privilege to announce that the 33rd WiN Global Annual Conference will be held from March 30 to April 3, 2026, in Gyeongju, Republic of Korea.
WiN Korea is deeply honored to host this prestigious international event and is wholeheartedly committed to ensuring its success. All members of our organization are preparing with dedication and enthusiasm to welcome participants from around the world and to create a meaningful and memorable experience for all.
Under the theme “Nuclear Energy for New Challenges,” the 33rd conference will provide an important forum to discuss the evolving role of nuclear energy in addressing some of the most urgent issues facing our world today — such as the climate crisis, energy security amid global tensions, and the surging demand for electricity driven by the rapid advancement of AI and digital technologies.
The scientific program will feature keynote and invited speeches by global leaders, as well as in-depth technical sessions on a wide range of topics, including small modular reactors, fusion energy, artificial intelligence applications, decommissioning, radiation safety, and communication strategies. In addition, there will be poster presentations, chapter reports, panel discussions, and workshops designed to encourage active dialogue and collaboration.
Participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy a cultural and technical tour, offering a chance to experience both Korea’s rich heritage and its technological innovation in the nuclear field.
We are honored to welcome distinguished guests and speakers from international organizations, academia, industry, and government. We firmly believe that this conference will serve as a valuable platform for professional exchange, global cooperation, and inspiration.
We sincerely invite all members of the WiN Global community to join us in Gyeongju—a city of timeless history and dynamic future.
Together, let us shape a stronger, more inclusive, and more sustainable future through nuclear excellence and international partnership.
We look forward to seeing you in Korea in 2026.
Thank you.
